The NYC Poetry, Puns & Pipes Meetup Group is all about bringing poets, comedians and singers together to first and foremost, have fun and entertain people. Secondly, we want to bring up-and-coming, undiscovered talents together. Who knows? Perhaps there can be some match-making where collaborative projects will result for exciting, more marketable work products (e.g., Books, CD, DVD, MP3, MP4, and live stage productions).

This group is for comedy shows that only have female comics. Most comedy shows in NYC have either all men or almost all men. Shows with all women can be as funny or even funnier. I love to go and create these types of shows and always have killer time. You can be a man or woman - doesn't matter - as long as you can appreciate a good comedy show with female comics.

Every thing in this group is completely free. This group will have Meetups once every two weeks where we see some of the best standup comedy shows in Queens and Brooklyn. Actors auditioning for accent roles are welcome, as well as comedians who want to add credibility to their acts. If you've ever wanted to learn how to do any accent, we'd love to help!
